Photo description: A big chunk of fish, and largest species of parrotfish in fact. This was on my second trip to the Perhentian Islands in 2007. On various dives, we saw large schools of them (2 to 3 dozen at a time), and it was amazing to just rest amongst them as they chomped on large chunks of coral with their huge fused teeth ("beaks"). Unfortunately, I never had my camera around when we saw the large schools because I was a DMT at the time. This loner was seen while I was snorkelling in my spare time in Flora Bay, and was taken with a cheap disposable u/w camera.
