The south-west winds are the most prevailing on the municipality of Faro, usually moderate to intense mostly at dawn a. In some places of predominating south-east or south-west winds, the ocean current may become medium, specially when allied to spring-tides, and we can feel them even at 30 meters deep. Typical marine species of the Atlantic Ocean, like Sargus, sea-breams, rock-basses, congers and morays, are the most found species on the profound waters of Faro, referring also the spectacular nudibrach that live here, some of them with great dimensions.
