Jardines de La Reina are an ecological reserve with excellent diving spots, where over 165 invertebrate species have been found, as well as 60 sponge species, 77 coral species, 167 tropical fish species and over 58 in mangrove regions. Some of these spots are Avalon, Faisy, Pipin, La Cueva del Pulpo, Farallón, Meseta de los Meros and Cabezo de Coral Negro, with coral-covered walls, plateaus, channels and caves, where you will be able to do night diving and deep diving, while trying to identify the hundreds of species living here.
The water temperture is between 21º and 26º C.

The water visibility varies between 30 and 35 meters.
Tropical climate with a dry season from December to April and a rainy season from May to November. The average temperature is 25º C, reaching 27º C in the rainy season and dropping to 21º C in the dry season.
To reach Jardines de La Reina, you will have to catch a plane to Havana and another or a bus to Cielo de Ávila. Then take a boat to Jardines de La Reina. Another option would be to catch a plane to Jardines de La Reina and then catch a boat in Jucaro harbour to the other islands.
